A HEAD WITH HEADROOM
The Royale was designed to deliver loud and vivid clean tone with a remarkably responsive, tactile low end. A high-headroom, 50W tube amplifier with a powerful EQ, footswitchable boost, tube-buffered effects loop and glorious tube-driven spring reverb, the Royale captures all of the nuances in your playing, both on stage and in studio. The 5881-loaded power amp in the Royale offers a choice of Class A (35W) or Class AB (50W) operation, as well as a master volume to control sound pressure level. Class A mode delivers the traditional, cathode-biased Supro sound with a bold, spongy midrange. Class AB delivers a grid-biased California sound with more scooped mid-range, tighter bass and faster transient response. Housed in poplar cabinetry with vintage-inspired Black Scandia tolex and a hemp cloth accents, the Royale is Supro’s most dynamically responsive, feature-packed, high-headroom amplifier to date. Also available in combo format.
Cleans Up Nice
Designed to be the first Supro that promises massive headroom, the Royale allows for everything from huge clean tones to super-saturated warmth, courtesy of its Class A to Class AB switch. Toggle between tight, punchy clean response and the midrange hearth that Supro is known for with the flick of a switch.
Remarkable Versatility
The Royale features a footswitchable Boost, FX Loop, and Reverb, offering players maximum control over the versatility of the amp. You’ve got level control on the Boost, level and dwell control on the Reverb, and the FX Loop is tube-buffered. It’s a royal banquet of tones.
Classic Black Scandia
Vintage-inspired black scandia tolex paired with the Supro “arrow” cutaway in hemp grille cloth, the Royale head strikes the visual balance between classic elegance and moody power.
A LOUD, CLEAN SLATE.
The Royale 1×12 Extension Cabinet features the custom Supro BD12 high-power driver, offering the same mid-range punch and clean articulation as the Royale combo but with additional stage volume. It utilizes a specialty British cone, top-of-the-line suspension and an oversized ceramic magnet. The Royale Extension adds considerable versatility for larger stages and pedal-based rigs where maximum headroom is required. Part of the first head and cab pairing available in our custom Black Scandia tolex and hemp grillcloth, the Royale Extension offers unforgettable stage presence no matter which head you choose to pair it with.
