”With unrivalled clarity and great dynamics, the Surfari set mimics the earliest of Stratocaster sounds – right back to the mid 50s. The Alnico 3 magnets also make for a solid mid-range, with less ”scoop” than more modern magnets.
The Surfari set uses rod magnets with our ”Modified Vintage Stagger” allowing for great string to string balance on a wide range of instruments.
Each pickup is fully wax potted to reduce any microphonic feedback, and comes supplied with screws, latex height adjustment tubing and an installation guide.”
